An unbelievable log house straight out of a fairy tale to France as a Finnish-Canadian collaboration
Massive log houses made from Canadian Western Red Cedar now available in Finland and delivered by Aito Log Homes
Aito Log Homes has created a breathtakingly beautiful log villa in Eastern France in collaboration with Canadian master craftsman Steve Langberg. The load-bearing structures of the ground floor and roof are made from massive Canadian Western Red Cedar, while the walls of the upper floor are constructed from industrially produced and non-settling laminated logs made of Finnish pine.
The different parts of the villa were manufactured simultaneously over 6,000 kilometers apart, in Canada and Finland, and they were assembled for the first time at the construction site in France.
The success of the project required meticulous planning, top-level precision, and a highly skilled installation team consisting of experienced log carvers. Aito Log Home’s French partner was responsible for the on-site installation together with the Canadian team.
Now, these stunning, hand-carved Canadian log houses and post-and-beam houses are also available in Finland. Contact us for more information!
